Naturally, this silvery mascot was a perfect fit for an action game. Beforehand, he had made a cameo as a guest fighter in the Japanese Saturn release of Fighting Vipers, but eventually Pepsiman would receive his own game, donning his new half-blue suit to match the then-current can design.
I already knew the meme. The game did well by parodying it. I liked the soundtrack (in fact, I would like to know what the name of the song is). It would be a good idea if there was a full version, in my opinion. Kudos to you!
Gratis Game Pepsiman Ps1 For Pc
Pepsiman is an action game developed and published by KID for the PlayStation. It was released in Japan on March 4, 1999, and is based on the mascot of the superhero of the same name from the American carbonated soft drink Pepsi. It focuses the player on avoiding obstacles by running, running, and jumping, while Pepsiman automatically races forward through each of the game's stages.
The game was made on a low budget, leading to the decision to make inter-stage videos showing a man drinking Pepsi, as they were cheap to produce. The game also features 3D scenes, for which future visual novel writer Kotaro Uchikoshi created 3D models. While an American publisher sought to acquire the rights to publish the game in the United States, it remained a game exclusive to Japan.
Reviewers frequently compared the game to other games, including Crash Bandicoot, and commented on its simplicity and price, which was thought about below. A writer for Complex included it on a list of company-branded games that "didn't suck," commenting that it's not a bad game as long as the player can tolerate a lot of hype on it. According to Uchikoshi, the game did not sell well.
Pepsiman is an action game that consists of four stages, each divided into smaller segments, and each one involves the superhero Pepsiman saving a dehydrated person, like a military man in the middle of a desert, by giving him a can of Pepsi. The first three stages are based on actual locations, San Francisco, New York, and Texas. The last one takes place in Pepsi City. The game is played from a third-person perspective, with Pepsiman automatically racing forward through the stages, sometimes running through people's living rooms. The player takes control of Pepsiman himself, aiming to dodge obstacles, such as cars, construction cranes, and people, as well as Pepsi-brand obstacles, including a Pepsi truck. The player does this using four different moves: run, run, jump, and super jump. The player earns points by collecting cans of Pepsi.
This game is based on the Japanese Pepsi mascot who appeared in different commercials in Japan. In these he appeared where people were thirsty, quenched the people's thirst, then injured himself most of the time. The game more or less follows this series of events as you run along stages collecting Pepsi cans, while trying your best to avoid injury or public humiliation. The goal of every stage is to run along a set course, jumping or sliding out of harm's way and in the end reach a vending machine with... you guessed it! Pepsi of course!
